Courtney Barnett was the musical guest on this weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live, which was the season finale. The episode was hosted by Fred Armisen, and featured a sketch in which she tries to teach Bobby Moynihan Australian slang. (There was also a sketch in which Fred Armisen and his Portlandia costar, Sleater-Kinney’s Carrie Brownstein, lead a Southern rock band with a bunch of guests, including Larry David.)

Barnett performed two songs from her 2015 album Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit, “Pedestrian at Best” and “Nobody Really Cares If You Don’t Go to the Party.”
