Julien Baker announces new album, Turn Out the Lights

Singer/songwriter Julien Baker has just announced a new album. On October 27, Baker will release Turn Out the Lights via Matador. Baker produced the album, which was recorded at Ardent Studios in Memphis, and mixed by Craig Silvey (The National, Arcade Fire, Florence and the Machine). The first single from the album is titled “Appointments,” which you can stream below. Earlier this year, Baker released the single “Funeral Pyre.” Take a look at the album’s artwork and tracklist below, along with her upcoming tour dates.
