A posthumous album from late post-punk legend and former leader of The Pop Group Mark Stewart is being released this summer. On July 11, Mute Records will release The Fateful Symmetry, the final album completed by Stewart before his passing in 2023. The first single to be shared is “Memory of You,” which was produced by Killing Joke’s Youth and features vocals from Hollie Cook. Hear it below, and check out the album’s tracklist and artwork.

Youth said in a statement about the song: “Memory of You’ not only illustrates what a great singer Mark was but what a great writer he was too…the melody and lyrics could be from the Walker Brothers or a 50s crooner like [Frank] Sinatra; timeless yet still ahead of the pack.”
