Colin Meloy to release Kinks covers EP

Colin Meloy, frontman of Portland’s The Decemberists, has released a few EPs worth of covers in the past, first with a set of Morrissey songs, then Shirley Collins and Sam Cooke. Now, Meloy is releasing a tour-only EP of Kinks covers. And you can hear his take on The Village Green Preservation Society highlight “Do You Remember Walter?” over at NPR. Check out the tracklist and tour dates (where you can pick up the EP) below.
