Jenny Hval shares new song “The artist is absent,” announces North American dates

Jenny Hval recently announced the details of new album Iris Silver Mind, which is out May 2 via 4AD, along with the first single “To be a rose,” which we named an Essential Track. Today, she’s shared another new single, “The artist is absent,” which you can check out below. She’s also announced North American tour dates this fall. Check those out below as well.

Iris Silver Mist follows 2022’s Classic Objects. It’s featured on our list of the 50 Best Albums of 2022.
