Lifeguard announce debut album, Ripped and Torn


Lifeguard have announced their debut album. Following 2023’s double-EP release, Crowd Can Talk/Dressed in Trenches, the Chicago group will release Ripped and Torn via Matador on June 6. It was produced by No Age’s Randy Randall, and the first single from the album is “It Will Get Worse.” Hear it below.
Lifeguard’s Kai Slater also recently released Radio DDR as Sharp Pins, which was included on our list of 20 Great Albums You Might Have Missed from Summer/Fall 2024.
