Stereolab announce first new album in 15 years, Instant Holograms on Metal Film


Stereolab have announced their first new album in 15 years. On May 23, the group (or “groop,” if you prefer) will release Instant Holograms on Metal Film via Duophonic UHF/Warp. Today they’ve shared the first new single, “Aerial Troubles,” which you can hear below.
Stereolab recently teased the album by sending out a mysterious 7-inch single to a select number of fans, featuring “Aerial Troubles” on its A-side, and with a cryptic word search insert. Take a look at the album details below as well as the band’s tour dates throughout 2025.
