Uncle Tupelo’s No Depression to be reissued

On Jan. 28, Uncle Tupelo — the pioneering alt-country band that featured Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy and Son Volt’s Jay Farrar — will release a two-disc reissue of their classic 1990 album No Depression, via Sony Legacy. It’s officially titled No Depression: Legacy Edition, and will feature 22 bonus tracks. The full package includes the original album, their 1989 demo Not Forever, Just For Now, two songs from the 1988 tape Live and Otherwise, and five songs from demo Colorblind and Rhymeless. The reissue will also feature liner notes from Richard Byrne of St. Louis’ Riverfront Times. Check out the full tracklist below, and listen to a demo of “I Got Drunk” over at Rolling Stone.
