Watch a clip of “Galleon Ship” from Nick Cave’s upcoming Idiot’s Prayer live stream

Nick Cave recently announced that on Thursday, July 23, he’ll be streaming a solo piano performance without an audience from London’s Alexandra Ballroom. It’s called Idiot’s Prayer, and today Stereogum points out that Cave has shared the first clip of music from the previously recorded solo concert. He’s released a portion of a performance of “Galleon Ship,” from 2019’s gorgeous and devastating Ghosteen. It’s a stark and haunting performance of the song, and you can check it out below.
